I have a question about the clearance for sprockets,,,I have a 2008 CBR 1000rr, and the rear sprocket extends 2 1/2" from the rim, do the mounting blocks have this much clearance,, thank you ,,,, Lee E.

Your sprocket, as on all modern Sportbikes, is bolted to a "Cush Drive" holder. You pull that out before you deal with it. There would be room for it but it will most likely fall out. Be careful to note the spacer in-between it and the wheel bearing for relocating it correctly. Balance wheels with roller bearings and removable race with the race in but on all others be sure to remove the spacers or your balance will be off. Also remove the rubber Cush Drive Blocks if they are loose.
