An Intro To The Cycle Hill Tire Changer
What people are saying about the CycleHill:
This looks like a nice unit. What is the exact purpose of the optional deluxe arm vs. the standard center post? From what i see this unit is probably the most versatile of units available for both dirt AND street tires, without buying a lot of accessories? Do these over go on sale? thanks, Kevin
Reply by No-mar: The Delux arm will hold the largest center post and comes with a plug and pin to fit the largest center post which is actually also the bead break arm as well. You can then discard the two smaller center posts. If you have a very stiff sport touring tire such as an OE tire for FJR, BMW LT, Honda ST. etc., the smallest center post may be the only post to fit in the hole or bearing. It will certainly bend if you pivot very far above the wheel. The Delux arm supports it from the top and makes it very stable like our Classic model No-Mar tire changer. It also allows you to use the spoonbar collar for changing Honda Goldwing GL1800 tires and can hold the Tool Collar accessory to keep your Tire lube and accessories handy.
Sometimes we have sales however they may be value adding rather than price reducing. Give us a call. It does not hurt to ask. If there is a sale coming up that we know about we will extend you the discount before it starts or it just would not be right.

I just used mine for the first time to install a set of new Dunlop E3s. Once you have the technique and use lots of the tire lube, the tires come off and go on very easily. Sturdy product. The only issue I have is that the blocks tend to tilt up when you crank them onto the wheel hard enough to stop it from spinning. Otherwise very happy with it and will use it for alot of years to come. By the way, when I was having trouble with the method, I called and talked to Sue and she was very helpful and friendly. Very cool folks.
Reply by No-Mar: Thanks!. Actually the Posi-Clamps will rock back a little bit. If you are all the way in almost out of range then they rock back the most. You can move them in one peg hole position and unscrew them back out into position and eliminate most of the tilt back effect under load. You will notice the size range decal has overlapping sizes marked. This is why and not all wheels measure. the same OD for the same ID tire. See our Tall Spools for thick edge rims like BMW GS.
